Agena Castle Ruins — Attraction in Uruma

Gorgeous and humbling, the ruins are a steep stair climb but well worth it. Beware of habu. The whole park is lovely and you can walk the trail in a circle around the whole castle. Lots of flowers, a large field for playing, the walking path is paved. There’s a playground also. The ruins and the bull ring are the main attraction though. Be respectful of the ancient place, you are just a blip in its lifespan. Enjoy the scenery, take photos, but don’t leave any trace of yourself behind. There is a parking lot. This park has beautiful scenery and exciting routes that lead everywhere around the park. When you first enter, you see a small playground and a large field of grass. There is also a monument closer to the forest entry and has a level of stone stairs. When you reach the highest point of the stairs, you can see castle ruins everywhere. For those with small kids - not kid friendly - it’s a neat place to hike to the top from the back stairway — BUT I am glad I didn’t bring my kid with me. At the top there is no railing and it’s a sheer drop down — and it’s a long way down — onto some sharp rocks below.

However- I think if you were to approach the front side bull ring with kids (and don’t get anywhere the top of that super cool looking wall you see in the photos) then...
