Good Napoli style pizza and one of the best pizza I have had in Wakayama. I highly recommend calling to reserve a table for lunch (11:00-14:30) at weekends. This place is a little expensive but you can taste the high quality of the ingredients. A pizza is about 1750 yen and pasta is about 1250 yen. We were warmly welcomed and had 3 delicious pizzas and a couple of bottles of French wine at just $35/ bottle. The pizza's were thin and perfectly cooked, tasty and lots of flavour. なぜか、ピザは炭の匂いがして、味も炭のようでした。おそらくオーブンは毎日きちんと掃除されていないのでしょう。私たちはみんなお腹を壊しました。 イタリアで例えば見かけることのないような、ピザの下に皿に炭の残りかすがありました。

This restaurant is one of the most confusing places I've ever been to. It has a wood-fired oven, which would indicate they make great pizzas... which is true... in part.
I don't know why, but the pizza smelled and tasted charcoal. Probably the oven is not properly cleaned every day. We all had upset stomachs. Under the pizza, on the plates, there was charcoal residual, not something you see for example in Italy.
My pizza, marinara, had way too much herbs.Flavours are supposed to be gentle, not aggressive.
My kid's pizza, a 4 cheese pizza, had probably 2 cheeses. You could taste the blue cheese, but the others felt cheap and not great at all.
