Wow! The pastries are fantastic here. I had the walnut Camembert bun fresh out of the oven and it was a little piece of heaven. The clear winner was the rum raisin cream cheese pastry - the pastry is a work of art. Every bite was a true joy. I’d come back to Yakushima just for this! There are benches right outside the bakery for you to enjoy the pastries and the view of the granite walls. What a lovely place 😄

The keema nan bun comes highly recommended if you can take the heat. Certainly worth circumnavigating the island or staying close by just to eat the bread here. The best is to buy your bread and get a smoothie next door where they allow you to enjoy your bread & smoothie in their beautiful eating area with a view of the Onoaida...

Best bakery we have ever been to. A must visit on yakushima. We tried the chicken gochugang bread, chocolate bread , raspberry jam/chocolate bun and coffee hazelnut cream bread. Everything was delicious...
