Incredible place! The host was so lovely, friendly and patient with us. The food was some of the best we had, there were lots of options and it was cheap (3500 yen for the two of us). Minimal English here but we got by with extremely basic Japanese, including making a reservation over the phone. Also, heads up, they are strictly against drinking alcohol if you are driving but there are lots of non alcoholic beverages! I visited in off season in mid-December so there were only a few others in the restaurant and I didn't need to make a reservation. Very lovely and nice owners. They have an English menu.
