There are two other canteens and a cafe in the library run by the university but Favo Cafe, run by independent Co-op, is the most trendy and popular cafe restaurant on campus. It has a bakery, lunch boxes, a one plate ready made meal section, as well as a counter seving coffee (150 yen) latte and iceream. Despite being trendy Favo is pretty inexpensive (please see photo of menu). There is a nice view of the garden outside and big windows all around except behind the counter. There is a bookshop upstairs but you must buy the books begore taking them down to Favo. There can be a long queue at lunch time. All seats are partioned at the time of writing. There is a big stuffed Yamamii cat cuddly toy for those who want to take a photo with the university mascot.
Favo Cafe is open to non students.
