Copine — Restaurant in Yamatokoriyama

Let me tell you, this place is a gem.

My wife and I are here on our honeymoon and to celebrate her birthday. We had booked Copine hoping for something different other than Japanese cuisine.

As soon as we got in we were greeted by the warmest smile and the owner/server/chef took us to our table.

We booked a course meal and let me say everything was divine. Food was flavorful, fresh, cooked to perfection.

On top of that the owner was explaining all the dishes to us. He's trying his best because we aren't Japanese. He doesn't have to but he tries.

For those of you supposed critics that give this restaurant 3 stars or less over parking or some other BS you should never go out to eat. For someone to work so hard and then you entitled people give the restaurant a bad review and potential ruin his living or business, you should be ashamed of yourself. Give the restaurant it's due, not all location have control over their parking...

ランチで奈良県大和郡山市にある『コピーヌ』へ。 店名の通りフレンチとイタリアンの ハイブリッド料理が楽しめるお店。 辺鄙な場所にあるので車でのアクセス必須だけど 専用のパーキングはなく停めにくい笑

店内はテーブル席とカウンター席があり、 今回は半個室のテーブル席に案内された。 半個室プランがあるぐらいだから 特別な席かと思いきや、奥まった席で狭く、特別感は…。

注文したのは贅沢ランチ（3500円）で、 パスタとメイン料理を以下にアップグレード。 ・エビクリームパスタ（＋550円） ・奈良県産黒毛和牛ヘレ肉のグリエ（+1870円） ・オマール海老のポアレ（+1980円）

内容は、前菜盛り合わせ、スープ、パン、 パスタ、メイン料理、デザート、ドリンク。

前もって椎茸が苦手と伝えたのに 椎茸スープが出てきたのはびっくりしたけど 前菜やメイン料理はうましであった。 特にもりもりで種類豊富な前菜に好印象。 ただ、エビクリームパスタは プラス料金払ったのにフツー。 でも、椎茸スープのお詫びにデザートを 豪華にしてくれたようで嬉しい。

厨房からスタッフの笑い声が聞こえてきたのは、飄々とした店主の人柄の良さが現れているのかも。
