本城ラーメン — Restaurant in Yanagawa

This is a fantastic restaurant! I started going here after moving to Japan to be an ALT and quickly made friends with the owner as well as the regulars at the bar.

The ramen is delicious and always fantastic to eat. The curry set and gyoza set are great deals for the amount of food you get.

Don’t forget the French fries, fried octopus, veggie stir fry and all the other options. We go here at least once a week for tradition.

Smoking inside is allowed, ash...

Great restaurant, we had lunch there and it was so good we even came back for dinner ! Ramen, fried rice and gyozas are all excellent, and cheap.

The restaurant close at 9:30pm which is nice, a lot of places closing earlier...

柳川市本城町、柳川藩主立花邸「御花」の程近く、「柳川パーキングセンター」の真裏に位置するラーメン屋です。店内は広めで、カウンター席･テーブル席･小上がり席と完備されています。駐車場スペースも店前等に用意されています。さて「ラーメン」ですが、まず塩味と微かな苦味が先行し、次に遠くから博多系とんこつ風味がやって来る不思議な味わいのとんこつスープとなっています。麺は中細ストレート麺でプリプリ感あり、具はチャーシュー、キクラゲ、ネギといった構成の一杯です。大盛り対応あり、替え玉制ありとなっています。ラーメンのバリエーションもそこそこ有るのですが、「ちゃんぽん」「焼きソバ」「カレーライス」等も扱っており、どちらかと言うと食堂的な品揃えのラーメン屋です。また、おつまみ用の一品料理とアルコール類も充実しています。つまりはそう言うお店ですね。 「御花」という、柳川の一大観光エリア内に店を構えているにも関わらず、表通りから少し外れている為か、メインの客層は観光客ではなく近所のおいちゃん達と言った印象が強いお店ですね。これからもご近所の...
