I had the pleasure of dining at Garden House Family Sushi in Yoichi, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. This humble family store serves some of the freshest and most delightful sushi I've ever had. The moment I stepped in, I could feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The sushi was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors. The ingredients were clearly of the highest quality, and it was evident that the chef takes great pride in their craft. Each piece of sushi was a delightful surprise, and the taste was simply exceptional.

Took a day off snowboarding at Niseko and drove to Yoichi to visit Nikka distillery with the family and found this place on Google map with good reviews. Friendly service with table and English menu. Very oldschool layout sushi shop. Set down and ordered 2 sushi sets salad and some rolls. 15 pcs and 10 pcs . Came out missing pieces like the uni (my guess is they didnt have it and replaced it another piece of Toro) and the quality of the seafood was not too fresh. The cutting of the sashimi and the sushi rice was subpar. We didn’t even bother to ask about the missing pieces. We were more shocked than disappointed. Went here after the Nikka Whisky Distillery tour and it was delicious! I absolutely recommend going here if you can. Had the rice bowl option which is a very fair price. It was very fresh. The staff were very kind and the head chef is very friendly.

Went at 1:15pm and had a 5 minute wait, but things move fast.
