I had the pleasure of dining at Garden House Family Sushi in Yoichi, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. This humble family store serves some of the freshest and most delightful sushi I've ever had. The moment I stepped in, I could feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The sushi was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors. The ingredients were clearly of the highest quality, and it was evident that the chef takes great pride in their craft. Each piece of sushi was a delightful surprise, and the taste was simply exceptional. If you're in Yoichi and looking for authentic, top-notch sushi in a cozy, family-run establishment, I wholeheartedly recommend Garden House Family Sushi. It's a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered and cherished.

Went here after the Nikka Whisky Distillery tour and it was delicious! I absolutely recommend going here if you can. Had the rice bowl option which is a very fair price. It was very fresh. The staff were very kind and the head chef is very friendly. Went at 1:15pm and had a 5 minute wait, but things move fast. They have an English menu. We don't know much Japanese but had no problems ordering. They also had these sushi shaped candy which were nice 🙂

Took a day off snowboarding at Niseko and drove to Yoichi to visit Nikka distillery with the family and found this place on Google map with good reviews. Friendly service with table and English menu. Very oldschool layout sushi shop. Set down and ordered 2 sushi sets salad and some rolls. 15 pcs and 10 pcs . Came out missing pieces like the uni (my guess is they didnt have it and replaced it another piece of Toro) and the quality of the seafood was not too fresh. The cutting of the sashimi and the sushi rice was subpar. We didn’t even bother to ask about the missing pieces. We were more shocked than disappointed. And I am writing here to warn my fellow travellers if you are looking good sushi, avoid this place.

If you are in Niseko and going to miss your flight home due to a blizzard closing the mountain road and getting rerouted through the IC road, and you stop at Garden House for sushi, you’ll feel like you just won the lunch lottery. Everything was incredible, don’t miss the yaki shio hodate (salt grilled scallop), or the 110yen bowl of salmon miso. Incredible, every bite!!

You just can’t stop eating seafood in japan a this family style restaurant is packed throughout lunch. A Chirashi bowl for only 990yen and stuffed with full of fresh seafood, simple irresistible. We also ordered the Katsu Don and it was yummy too. Very humble restaurant but serves good food with a family feel. Definitely a must try if you are nearby. Happy eating

初めての訪問です。 11:20位に入店した気がします。 既に半分は埋まってました。 カウンターと座席（小上がり？）がございます。 空いてる時は好きな方を選ばせてくださいます。 元気な声で案内して下さり気持ちが良いです！ 当方は2名の為、お店の事も考慮してカウンターを選択。 カウンターの場合は詰めて座る必要があり、お隣さんとかなり密接になります。 手荷物を置くスペースやカゴ等は無いので、大きな荷物やバッグは車の見えない所に隠したり、貴重品を入れずに背もたれにかけたり、何かしらの対策をしてからが良いのではないでしょうか？ 握りやチラシ寿司。 揚げ物etc..... 想像より種類が豊富。 そこそこのお値段ですので、ボリュームがあります！ 最上級グレードのチラシ寿司は品切れの貼り紙！ 残念っ！ 多分ネタの入荷状況で変化するのかなと思いました。 逆に言えば、ネタの質に拘ってるからこそ、潔く『品切れ！！』とされていたのではないでしょうか？ 私達はその一個下のランクのチラシ寿司を選択。 食べ始めるまでに満席にっ！！（11:45位） 店内壁沿いに待ちの人々が。。。 少し視線が気になる（小心者？w） 多種類のネタがだいたいは一切れずつ載ってました。 （いくらは1粒ではないですよ？w） アワビや中トロ等も厚みがあり、雲丹は大葉に載せた状態で酢飯の熱で溶けにくく配慮されてます。 雲丹も鮑もホッキ貝も海臭く無く（人によってはそれが好きな方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、私は苦手で昔から生牡蠣とか殆ど無理。。）しかもバフン雲丹だと思います。 ムラサキ雲丹よりレベルが段違いなので最高でした。 酢飯は少し甘酢系でこれもネタにあいます。 ワサビは確か練りワサビでしたね。 北海道で本ワサビの擦りたてはハードル高いので、そこは仕方が無いかと。 （間違ってたらすみません） 単品で握りとか1品料理を心の中で追加しようと画策しておりましたが、ネタの量と、何より酢飯の量が多くて完食するので限界でした。。。 連れは酢飯を残してしまいました。 すみません！ 次回からは酢飯の量を初めから減らして貰えないか聞いてみようと思いました。 カウンターの密接状態と荷物置き場が無い事で星を4とさせていただきましたが、ネタは美味しかったので満足です！ 12時前に満席になるだけの理由がそこにはあったってことですよね。 2人で6000円弱。 ご馳走様でした！！！Ψ( 'ч' ☆)
