Hoshino Coffee Yokosuka shop — Restaurant in Yokosuka

There's no denying that their coffee is delicious. A legit top tier cup of drip coffee that will quench any of your caffeine needs and leave you feeling warm and cozy, especially in the winter. But their menu is fantastic, and I've never had a bad or good meal here, they've all been GREAT! My last stop had us ordering the beef stew omelete rice and the chestnut Mont Blanc pancakes. Firstly, you can't get better eggs anywhere than Japan so the omelete rice was superb but on top of that beef stew was eye poppingly good! Afterwards, the soufle pancakes topped with the Mont Blanc was the perfect pairing with my coffee. The Mont Blanc zhuzhed it up so well that Jonathon Van Ness would be proud.

French toast to die for! My iced decaf blend was great but came with the world’s smallest serving of cream. Just part of Japan culinary culture I guess. The Fuwa Fuwa Fluffy Soufflé with mozzarella cheese was unlike its American counterpart. There was something like spanish rice and small ham bits at the bottom. The texture of soufflé beneath the crust reminded me of grits. The kid’s platter was evidence of Japanese obsession with and coddling of children. It came with the thick, fluffy pancake with powdered sugar and syrup, jelly and don’t forget no breakfast would be complete...

Note to future diners before 11AM they only serve the morning menu which has limited options

I went here randomly in search of Fluffy Pancakes. And a quick Google search lead me here I'm glad it did the pancakes were delicious, light and bouncy. I also enjoyed a beef and rice omelet. The coffee was good, I’m also not a big coffee drinker so take that last statement with a grain of salt. Overall customer service was great minimal English-speaking but they have English Menus. Will def add this place to my goto list for...
