I recently had a disappointing experience at Bloom Coffee. I visited the same shop last year and want to recommend to my family this year when we are back. While they have tables available, they refused to accommodate our party of 8 people. The reason they provided was that they are unable to handle multiple large orders simultaneously, even if we were willing to wait.
This policy of turning away larger groups, even when tables are open, is quite frustrating. I understand restaurants need to manage their capacity, but refusing service to willing customers seems like poor business practice. Especially for a restaurant that specializes in group dining experiences.
The food at Okinawa is generally good, but the inflexible seating policy means I cannot recommend it for parties larger than 6 people. It's a shame, as I was hoping to enjoy a meal there with a group of friends. However, the rigid restrictions on group size left me feeling let down by the overall experience.
In the future, I would advise others to carefully check Okinawa's group dining policies before making a reservation, to avoid the disappointment I faced. While the food may be tasty, the inability to accommodate larger parties makes Okinawa a less than ideal choice for group gatherings and...
Read moreBeautiful little garden coffee and cafe area. Delicious coffee, I love the caramel latte, Okinawa brown sugar and purple sweet potato latte - so hard to pick a favorite. Their French toast is made from local bakery baguettes and it’s so soft and flavorful - the kids love it. Their basil chicken sandwich is spiced perfectly (no heat).
This is hands down our favorite coffee shop! It’s a quaint and serene spot, perfect for a relaxing break. We especially love sitting outdoors in their charming garden—it adds such a cozy, peaceful touch.
The menu is small but thoughtfully curated, and everything we’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. The coffee is so good that my husband ended up buying their whole beans after our lunch, and now it’s the only place he gets his espresso beans—he’s completely switched from his old supplier. The espresso here is incredibly smooth with no bitterness at all.
For food, the chicken basil sandwich paired with the Okinawa brown sugar latte is a winning combination. And for the kids, the blueberry smoothie and oatmeal pancakes are always a hit—they can’t get enough!
This place has become a go-to for our whole family, and we can’t...
Read moreGreetings Googlers, on the prowl and stumbled onto this hidden gem. This place has parking in the back which was easy to find. I think it is great for couples but not so great for large 5+ groups since they seem to have few areas to accommodate especially if it’s cold or gloomy outside. The atmosphere inside seemed cozy and loved watching the machines roast the coffee. For food we decided to trying the BLT, choco banana sandwich, and French toast platter. For my Americans who like American bacon then rest assured the bacon here with is Japanese style bacon but cooked like the American way which was pretty good especially with the BLT. The French toast platter was delicious although the syrup isn’t what I am used to, it had a great pairing with the way the French toast was cooked. The choco banana sandwich was a bit too chocolatey for me making me want a peanut butter version, however because I saved it towards the end, the coffee I had it with made for a great dessert at the end. The BLT had a very savior sauce with it that I plan to come back and...
