We came here because they have the hot chicken challenge. I think if you can finish the plate you get 50% off and your picture on the wall. It's a lot harder than you think. They have no idea what the scoville rating for their sauces. You get eight pieces of chicken and it's 2,500 yen. Now. These were huge pieces so technically you get a really good deal because for that price it's a lot of chicken. The half and half is the same price or you get six pieces of one flavor and six of another, but the sizes of those are just a bit smaller though still really large. The only thing is I didn't really like the taste of this sauce. It's kind of bitter. I only had a dab of it on my tongue as I wasn't the one doing the challenge. Just to try it. It starts off milder but it builds and builds and builds. This is definitely not for the week of heart. My partner had two pieces and called it quits which surprised me since he can handle very very spicy normally. (Ghost pepper kinda guy). It was a worthwhile experience though since when he failed it, the rest of us got to try it as well just to see. It was just interesting for me but not something I'd want to order.
They have milkshakes and other drinks but we just stuck with water today. I tried the soy honey, honey cheese, spicy, and plain chicken. Ranking: 1 spicy 2 honey cheese and soy honey tied 4 plain
I really like the honey cheese when it was mixed with the spicy though, the honey cheese was a little weird on its own but very interesting and worth trying for something different. I think I would have preferred the soy garlic but we didn't try that flavor today so I'm just guessing. I got the large salad because I wanted salad, but it's not really the best deal out there. It's an average salad. The chicken is good and crispy even though it's drenched in sauce. Not like super crispy but still with some crisp...

Read moreA very solid Korean Fried Chicken restaurant! The chicken is large and solidly fried, and still retains its moisture, so it’s tasty in every bite! Has a great breading crust to it—very authentic to the Korean Style. Large pieces too—a half size was more than enough for one person!
The spicy sauce they use is more of a syrup-consistency than a sauce. The spiciness for the Korean Spicy is considerably less than the Gochujung flavors you’d get in Korea, but for Japan standards, it’s spicy enough to get a nice burn without slowing down your eating. It doesn’t have a strong flavor overall, but does create solid spicy chicken!
They also have a “Super Spicy Contest Sauce” that you can get a small taste on the side. That one is absolutely brutal—the spice is an extra concentrated liquid form that feels like they added pure capsicum syrup into the mixture. That one in particular has the vapor consistency of cough syrup but a dangerous amount of pure heat. Do not recommend the super spicy, but the regular Korean Spicy is good for anyone who can handle spice.
I suspect the other flavors and sauces are even more tasty and delicious than their spicy sauces.
The Korean Corndog was delicious too! The front half is mozzarella cheese and the second half is a small hotdog. But it’s breaded and fried exceptionally well, and was quite tasty! A great introduction to the real things in Korea!
The staff can speak fluent English and was incredibly helpful! Fantastic customer service and very comfortable taking phone orders too. A great...
