Steak House 88 Jr. Yomitan — Restaurant in Yomitan

I really did not want to give one star. All three steaks ordered Medium rare arrived very rare almost Blue. When we sent it back to be cooked properly the exact steak was returned to us cooked much longer. Half of my wife's steak was actually MR the other half MW, my steak was all MW my son's steak was all well done. We just ate the steaks but could not enjoy the meal. When we went to pay we could see into the kitchen add watched a cook blow his nose and then continue to touch food with no gloves or even washing his hands. What a disgrace. I have been in Okinawa over 30 years and have worked in food service over 25 years in Japan and the US and have never been in so insulted with the poor service and extremely poor...

Decent steak chain in Okinawa. The steak tastes decent. It comes with its natural flavor so your get to add as much salt and pepper to it as you want. I did ask for medium rare but the steak came in rare. Might have to ask for medium next time. They have some steak sauce at the table for you to indulge in as well.

They bring you steaks in a hot plate so be careful and every steak and hamburger steak meal automatically comes with the salad and soup bar.

I honestly come back here for the soups because it tastes good as an appetizer and a side, when you’re eating the steak.

I have been here for over a year and Steak 88 Jr. is by far one of my favorite restaurants on Okinawa. The staff greet you with a friendly smile every time you walk in and the food options are delicious especially when you add the soup and salad combo with your meal! I order the same thing every time I go there with my family and it NEVER disappoints. Side note, we go there at least once a week. I guess at this point we are considered regulars lol.

In summary, great food and people, and the music is lovely....
