Wafutei Owan City — Restaurant in Yomitan

Before grocery shopping we decided we needed to fill our stomachs so we wouldn’t buy the whole store! It had a good sized lunch crowd so we knew it was going to be good! Complimentary green tea was served before we got our meals. I ordered the gyudon set with tempura shrimp and vegetables. The presentation was so beautiful and thoughtful. Everything. Was. Delicious. I’m not sure what three of my sides were but they were all tasty and the tofu in the small bowl with lid was my favorite. Everything was flavorful and fresh. My friend ordered the cheese stuffed tonkatsu set and really enjoyed that as well. This place is worth coming...

We stopped by for dinner after shopping. The choices are many and the pictures are enticing.

The food was hot and fresh, however the quality wasn’t as expected.

It’s a great place for a quick and diverse selection of Japanese foods and it conveniently located in the shopping mall.

We both tried the Tuna sashimi set with various tempura and noodles. With the dollar to yen ratio what it is now 148 yen it was also inexpensive.

The service was great and the order to plate time was normal.
