Food: great noodles and it’s one of my hidden spots. They’re only open during specific hours, that’s how you know it’s good. I gave 4 stars because there’s two chefs. The old guy has the young guy beat, he has the experience. The old guy who smokes outside you want that guy to cook for you.

Service: great they bring water and are fast.

Atmosphere: it’s a smaller shop, they play music but it’s more of a get in, eat the good food and leave.

Great spot for flavorful noodles! I went with the tan tan mian which this shop is famous for. Strong flavors, great textures (crunchy pickled veggies in the mix) and beautiful presentation, though it’s a bit on the salty side. Had the 担々麺. Noodles and peanut sauce was quite good, but the rest seemed like a strange combo to me. Pickled plums, raw onions, and lettuce? The background "music" was also off-putting.
