My USA member card caused an issue when scanned they had to call for an override

Many goods are expensive, but there are a few good deals like the $15 16 inch pizza or some of the alcohol selection etc

They have many things just like the ones stateside, random free food sample stations, tire service center, pharmacy, eyeglasses, restaurant, etc

We came Monday at 10am when they opened, it was busy but manageable, I could imagine trying to come on Saturday or Sunday, no thanks!

All in all fun to visit, membership cost about $15-20 cheaper than the stateside $60 rate for annual basic membership.

We'll be back again periodically to browse, but most things are not a good enough value or just too big to feasibly get even for a family of 5 in a typical small apartment in the city...

You have to go to these types of places at times when there are fewer people. This way you will avoid crowds. In addition, with the pandemic, people DID NOT CHANGE FOR THE GOOD, THEY ARE PREPOTENT; any way at all! The downside is that you don't always find the products you need. on the other hand the staff is my apathetic; it's always bad. At times I think they don't like their job or something happens because there are people or not, the staff is always in a bad mood. also NEGATIVE point is seeing you go to the box area to pay. they throw your products and it is an AWFUL pressure!! also see the bitter faces at the cashiers 😠🥴🥴. I recommend going during the week and early. so you will have another experience. DO NOT DEAL WITH ARROUGHT PEOPLE AND BAD PERSONNEL OR CASHIERS WITH BAD ACTIONS. Buyer beware! This is my second time coming here. Both experiences were terrible. They only take Mastercard here a lesson I had to learn the hard way. I had to wait in line only to be told they wouldn’t take my three Visa cards or my two American Express cards 🤦‍♂️ so not Mastercard… I was removed from line because it was so busy and pulled out cash at the store ATM. I then had to wait in line again to pay.

Yesterday it was so packed it took me over an hour to grab some basic essentials. I made a purchase and after opening today just exactly 24 hours after the purchase both bags of asparagus were completely moldy. I had to throw it all away. I wish I could get my money back… I am so disappointed with this product and this store overall. This COSTCO does not standup to the KIRKLAND brand that I have come to know and love over the years.
