Marugen Ramen is a successful chain restaurant that is fitting for both the solo ramen eater as well as families/groups. There is lots of parking outside and lots of seating inside. They have booths and a smaller area where you can sit on the floor if you so choose. I got a more family friendly vibe because they serve soft serve ice cream here too 🍦
They have the standard ramen restaurant fare: utensils, spices, sauces, green tea, tissues, all at your sitting area.
I was impressed with their translation and ease of access for the menu. There was a QR code for everything.

I wouldn’t say this places is mind blowing, but I like it and for its price and family friendly menu, it gets a four star.
I come here with my family one every two months or so. Usually if we are close by and we need to find a place where we can get a seat pretty quickly this place wins out.
They have a kids menu where it is pretty cheap. And they have a combos for lunch and I get the fried rice and ramen set.
I recommend it for families, but if you are a hard core ramen fan, this might not be the place for you. If you like good ramen with a family friendly vibe: this is the place for you.
Plus they give you coupons for next time and you can get stamps too. Makes it worth coming...
Read moreI like their nikusoba. It’s taste good and refreshing because it has some kind of yusu topping. It has a lot of garlic too which I like. A bit salty to my liking but overall it’s good. I ordered their chahan and its presentation was unique. Although the presentation was unique the taste was so-so. Been here twice and I always order their popular nikusoba. Their deserts are inexpensive but the taste was so-so. will definitely come back again...
