The Poplars Tea Room — Restaurant in St. Brelade

What a wonderful treasure The Poplars is. A lovely warm and friendly welcome each time, all the staff are courteous and helpful. The environment is immaculate, with a 5 star "Eat Safe" rating. Indoor seating is very comfortable and allows ample space between tables to ensure each table has it's privacy. Outdoor seating is well maintained, parasols providing shelter from the stunning sunshine, and pets are catered for outside also. The selection of food and drinks is incredibly varied, you're really spoilt for choice. The food is scrumptious and delicious, ALL HOMEMADE!!! Please do visit and enjoy the experience for yourself. Lovely tea room and amazing cakes. Really friendly staff and great service. Only reason it’s lost a star for me is because there’s almost no vegan on the menu, so not ideal if you’re a vegan eating out with non-vegan family. It’s a salad sandwich (but I think the bread all has milk in it) or maybe soup, if the soup of the day happens to be meat and dairy free. There is now a vegan shortbread biscuit but this is hard to take when the cakes are all laid out! Making a decent vegan cake isn’t hard so hopefully they’ll...

Having visited Jersey for many years only visited The Popular Tea room for the first time this holiday the Drinks and cream teas were excellent the service very friendly and a special mention to the friendly locals as I’d tried to purchase a home cooked loaf but they’d sold out and a very nice lady came over and insisted on going me her loaf saying “ remember the kind nice people of Jersey “ We agree West is Best in Jersey highly recommend The Poplars Tea Room.
