Relish Delicatessen — Restaurant in St. Helier

Great find in the middle of St Helier. Relish is a delicatessen specialising in cheese that is open some evenings for food and drink. The choice depends on the cheese available but the platters are good while the baked cheeses and raclette are very good. Wine selection is extensive and good quality. There is a choice of inside and outside seating with friendly service. No real view but a good place to watch people. In the winter, and on Swiss national day, they serve cheese fondue with vegetable and bread. Choice of cheese is extensive and, though not cheap, provides good quality cheeses that I'd never heard of at reasonable prices. I would recommend for cheese or for a selection of meats and cheese and a glass of wine in the evening. We had a variety of sourdough baguette filled rolls, amazing quiches, the best sausage rolls in town, fantastic cauliflower also peach mozzarella salads.
