Y-Not Cafe — Restaurant in St. Helier

I've been going to Y-Not for years and was sad to see it was changing hands but it is just as fantastic under new management.

We have ordered a couple of take aways via food.je from here now and everything has been wonderful. There is great variety of food at reasonable prices. The quality and taste is amazing and both times it was delivered before the estimated delivery slot and was piping hot. They were even kind enough to do a child's portion of a dish that wasn't on the children's menu. The homemade deserts which came free as part of an offer were also delicious.

You can get everything from a bacon and egg butty, a filling homemade Penne Carbonara, good old fish and chips to speciality dishes like Picadinho. Each of them are prepared with care and attention to detail and clearly quality ingredients. There's a wide variety of dishes to choose that would satisfy almost any palate whilst also keeping it simple and not becoming an overwhelming mismash. You would be hard pushed to find this standard of food at such good value at most places let alone in town in Jersey.

Everybody in our house was more than happy with their meals and we will definitely be back again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced good quality meal with...

I walked around for half an hour, 8am till 8:30am trying to find somewhere to sell me a bacon sandwich before work this morning. Due to Christmas being on its way (it's the 5th of December) I couldn't find one until I ended up at this place. Once I arrived the food came within minutes and the atmosphere was upbeat, friendly and modern. The sandwiche was good and the ketchup sachets with actually easy to open for once.
