Chaika — Restaurant in Amman

We had the most wonderful experience. We are regular seafood seekers, and we might have just found our favourite! Raed was our wonderful host that made sure all our food was perfectly served and everything was to our liking. We really enjoyed meeting him, he was the MVP of the restaurant, and that is saying something as they were all truly amazing. The food was beyond exquisite as the flavours were out of this world. Everything was spiced to perfection. They even offered is Arabic coffee as we waited to be seated and some after alongside the dessert. We were seated next to a family of 4 who informed us that this has been their regular spot for seafood for years, and I’m sure we will be joining them. The service: Phenomenal. They gave us a dip platter to snack on as we waited for our food. And they gave us creme caramel shots after we were done. The waiters were very nice and friendly, and gave us everything we needed and asked for.

The food: The bucket for two can feed three people. The crab salad was insanely good. Dynamite shrimp and fried calamari were good too.

Price: Not cheap but not crazy expensive. Prices are reasonable considering seafood is expensive.

A very lovely experience. The food is excellent (Mecca Street) and the staff are super friendly, helpful, and smiling. We had the in house offers: seabream grilled with rice and seafood and the mixed chaika bucket with shrimp calamari fresh Crab and mussels with rice.
