The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes, each prepared with fresh ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. I started with the Noodles seafood soup , spring rolls , Chinese salad which were perfectly balanced and flavorful. For the main course, I opted for the shrimp sizzling , chicken cashew , noodles with vegetables and the sweet crispy beef. All dishes were outstanding, with tender meat, vibrant vegetables, and rich, savory sauces.
The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. They were also very accommodating to dietary preferences and offered excellent recommendations. Special thanks to Mr. Waleed , Mr. Talat , Mr. Ta’mari , Mr. Hamada , Mr. Abu Rami , and Mrs . Um Rami.
One of the highlights of the evening was the dessert. The fried banana with ice cream was a delightful end to the meal, offering a sweet and satisfying conclusion.
Overall, Chinese Village Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a must-visit for anyone in Amman looking to enjoy delicious Chinese cuisine in a charming and elegant setting. I highly recommend it!

Read moreOne of the few decent and good Chinese restaurants in Amman where the food tasted delicious and does not cater fully to the “local/regional” taste buds.
I ordered their steamed vegetable dumplings, mapo tofu (requested without meat), and vegetable fried rice. The mapo tofu has some flavours from the Sichuan peppercorns. I found the vegetable fried rice quite bland and didn’t seem as though it was “fried rice”. Overall, I found the dishes I ordered just decent and good, but not amazing as I did felt it lacked some of the right amount of flavours to be “wow”. It is however one of the “best” Chinese restaurants in Amman.
Menu includes limited vegetarian and vegan options, but staff is able to adapt some dishes (ie I requested for my mapo tofu to be cooked without meat).
Restaurant is spacious that is has seatings to accommodate for tables for 2 to a big group. Has tables with the round spinning plate to move dishes around the table.

Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of Chinese Village for some time, but my recent visit to their new branch near the 7th circle in Amman left me disappointed. The service was not up to par with my previous experiences. It took an astonishing 30 minutes for the corn soup and 45 minutes for the main course to arrive, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. The spring rolls and other dishes were only warm, not hot, as if they weren’t cooked on the spot. What troubled me the most was the confusion about the chicken cashew dish. I inquired about the ingredients, and the waiter assured me that it didn’t include bell peppers, but the menu’s photo clearly depicted bell peppers. This inconsistency was frustrating. I didn’t order the chicken cashews based on the waiter’s information. I’ve always loved this restaurant, but the recent visit to their new branch near the 7th circle fell short of my...
