We had a truly horrendous experience in Panda hotel apartments. We booked as the price was quite affordable and we were looking to only stay for sleep and be outside otherwise. Myself (Irish) and my husband (Jordanian) arrived at around 7.30pm on a friday evening to check in before meeting friends, after calling for someone to check us in and waiting almost 10 minutes, my husband called the phone number and someone appeared several minutes later from upstairs. We were told by the man working there that we could not check in despite having our original marriage certificate (In english) as we did not have a Jordanian family book. My husband called the owner who informed him we would not be able to stay as our legal document was not sufficient. He also told me that had my husband been foreign, it would be a different situation. I honestly have never had such an awful experience and have stayed in countless hotels across the middle east...

Cleanliness: the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness. The rooms are spotless, and all areas are well-maintained. Such as, bathrooms and beddings that are continuously changed.
Safetyš”: the hotel takes safety seriously. There are CCTV cameras everywhere and the corridors are well-lit.
Serviceš¤: the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. They made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay.
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi. The hotel also offers microwaves, refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners in every room.
Overall I had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this...

There are plenty of shops, bakeries, restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance so food and drinks are readily available (check out Al Wakalat Cafe for coffee, snacks and shisha as well as Al Sufara Bakery for tons of fresh baked sweet and savoury snacks and the great little falafel shop just behind the hotel and up the hill on Al Yanabii).
