Awesome club with unfortunately very high INSECURITY and BRIBING going on.... some groups of people only go there to steal and pickpocket, even at the entrance before you actually get in,so pathetic. I'd advise you to be very cautious of your belongings right from the minute you leave your car to the minute you get back to your car. Not forgetting the watchmen and women who on most nights ask for bribes not less than Ksh.500 for you to gain access into the club at the entrance. Such a pathetic case also, which the club definitely needs to look into. The club would be over-amazing if only those two issues are resolved. All in all, it's a good place to catch up with friends and have a good time, well, if only you wouldn't have to be in constant worry of your belongings. Partying on Fridays and Saturdays has majorly been an activity done by many Nairobians and finding a cool place to blow some steam off has always been one of the dilemma of making plans. 1824 is located just next to Langata road at Langata/carnivore stage. It's decorated with a wooden and green touch. The high ceilings with translucent sheets and dangling flower baskets creates the green house illusion. The tables and chairs are made of wood. The service is good and they serve food and alcoholic drinks. Some drinks vary according to the type, quality and quantity. One of the worst clubs have raved so far .The bouncers are so hostile poor customer service. How can you approach a drunk person with violence the bouncers punched my boyfriend on the the mouth and he threw him to street and he was almost stepped by a car just he had much to drink..as if that not enough the bouncer followed as outside and wanted to streak him on the head with a huge stick he had carried worst of the experiences...I can never recommend anybody to this club if there was a zero rating is what I would have given them....am a unsatisfied customer ....He is right now nursing the bruises caused by...
