This restaurant is go-to restaurant Food -Mooli paratha - use to be better years back but it's is manageable. -Chana (channa masala) - from time to time the taste of this side dish alters. Currently it is average probably lacks bit spice taste -sada paratha - this is general better but they may offer oily sometimes n if not all most times it is thick made with uncooked part in between. This gas been ever since in most pakistani restaurants. Fir drier u have to tell them (suka-hindi or khushak-urdu) but this depends on peak hrs n days. -Kashmiri chay-pink in color u can taste it is offered without sugar so that's good. It is creamy milky but has different taste than normal. -Normal chay-so so the average u get everywhere with the cheap creamy condensed milk. U can tell them to make it dudh kaam (less milk) to fit ur preference. Roti-this is good but I have had better. -They have plain naan n stuffed khima, aloo (which are buttery on top), stuff paratha (aloo, gobi, kheema, anda(overlayered)), chana dal, nihari (breakfast) mutton (sheep's) paya. Any naan or roti other than plain is served usually with mint yogurt n if u are more ppl with substaincial food u may get rava halwa. All of above is breakfast item someof which is available in evening. Kadai chicken - spicy n usually tougher on stomach for new tryst. All Pakistani food is oily regardless of u tell them, changes will be minor. Type of oil used in all restaurants is a...
Read moreThe food was decent, with some dishes hitting the mark and others falling short. The menu offered a good variety of traditional Pakistani options, but some lacked the depth of flavor and authenticity I was hoping for.
Service: This was the most disappointing aspect of my visit. The service was unattentive and slow, impacting the overall dining experience. It was difficult to get the staff's attention, and requests often took a long time to be fulfilled.
Ambiance: The restaurant's ambiance was unremarkable. The decor lacked any real character, and the overall atmosphere felt a bit sterile and uninviting.
Staff: Unfortunately, the staff did not contribute positively to the experience. They were unfriendly and unhelpful, which only further detracted from the enjoyment of the meal.
Overall: While the food at Wah Ji Wah had some redeeming qualities, the poor service and uninspiring ambiance ultimately left me with a negative impression. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
Here are some potential improvements that Wah Ji Wah could consider:
Improving the service: Train staff to be more attentive, friendly, and efficient. Enhancing the ambiance: Create a more inviting and authentic atmosphere through decor, music, and lighting. Focusing on consistency: Ensure that all dishes consistently meet a high standard of...
Read moreToday we ordered 3 kheema paratha and 1 chicken paratha and when we ate the first bite of kheema paratha we tasted raw uncooked meat and it was smelling. We called the waiter (some new short guy) to give us another one with proper cooked meat, he just went inside and make it hot and brought back again the same thing. We told them we want to cancel the order and the waiter threw it right in front of us in the garbage bin but still charged us woth the whole amount. We told we will paynfor chicken paratha and water as we consumed both butbthe cashier and a cook were so aggressive and rude that they werent even trying to accept their mistake. Finally we paid 1 kd as sadqa to them as they were continuously begging to pay the whole amount while we had only 1 bite from each paratha and also they threw the 3 paratha in the garbage but still was charging us to pay whole amount. Such low quality communication with customers and very rude and aggressive behaviour. I Would recommend not to eat kheema paratha from there anymore as there's only name now of the restaurant but quality and service has...
