Vegetarian restaurant in salmiya block 10 on saba street (relocated years back)...

Gujrathi thali (kadi, undiyo, methi puri, vatana usal) on thrusdays is popular here...ppl come here frm distances to have thrusday thali.. Although COVID 19 has dampened all of it.. Guess they were more popular for gujrathi thali back in their original place.. concentrating only on their forte..

Apart from that once or twice pav bhaji was really good.. Actually as good as mumbai's pav bhaji, but later on few occassion it was tasteless.. Dont know why...

Onion kachori and samosa are good too.. They have puran poli now a days which is good option..

If ppl want to have daily thalis too they have standard weekly menu.. Its ok with hot chapatis for in-dinning..

They has good sweets option (rasgulla, ras malai, gulab jamun and dry sweats too) but i dont know for how long are these sweets stocked on display... Than again i guess Diwali is best time as one might get fresh ones then..

They have other quickte bite snacks option too.. Like chakli, sev.. etc

The service is a bit poor overall.. probably understaffed n on occassion absent mindedness.. More preferential to families and acquaintances...

At time regulars are ignored for disposition towards families (probably family bring more revenue)..

Hygiene is not the plus point.. At times money bills are exchanged with the same hands as food.. (sprinkling coriander and than tendering money with same hands)

Overall food of my choice is good.. So hope they take notice of the drawbacks...

Sagar resturant was inaugated in Salmiya Kuwait in 1993 as a gujarathi vegetarian resturant with about 6 staff and 2supervisors.From that day their quality of food has not only kept up the standard but also diversified their serving items to south indian fast food like dosa,masal dosa,snacks and sweets .
