Chaikhana Navat — Restaurant in Bishkek City

By far, this is the worst experience I had in a restaurant so far. Very bad service with rude manager in the restaurant. We were a group of 10 people. We had to seat ourselves in a table because no waiter was available to seat us and then after many times calling for someone to give us the menu ( waited more than 20 minutes just to get the menu ), the waiter came with a menu without english option. The waiter was useless and no one were able to speak any language but Kyrgyz. We order mixed grill for 10 people and we asked him to hold the sausage (after hassle using google translator). He said it will be ready in 20 minutes which we were okay with. We were not able to order many items in the menu because we were told it will take 2 hours to get them ready which is by far the longest wait time for any meal in any restaurant I been to. The oder arrived more than 45 minutes late. They did not hold the sausage and the food was cold as ice. When we spoke to the waiter and the manager, they were like we were wrong… anyhow we let it go. When they provided us the bill, they added 10 plates of rice to the order which we didn’t order ( price of more than 1200 som). They also added 15$ service fee despite the fact that we have informed multiple times that the service is the worst ever and the manager was very rude and handled the situation very poorly.

DON’T ever think about going to this restaurant if you want to have good experience with your loved ones. VERY poor service with very POOR food quality...

The place is magnificent. A beautiful design to impress my friends and family from abroad. Love that part.

Unfortunately, the service is slow. We ordered food for 8 people with salads and mains. They brought 4 mains first, without salads. Then, when the people with main finished their meals, they brought salads. Other 4 were still waiting. Then they brought 2 mains after very long time. By the time I am writing this review, my and my brother’s food have not been served. It’s been an hour since we ordered and I wanted an easy food like frikasse.

One of the few places in town that has a room for children to play inside with a nanny too look after. Parking is spacious, interior is homely and inviting. Price is averaged to slightly expensive than average. The only issue is their menu or rather their chef, as it has been my experience of receiving inconsistent quality meals that is the reason why this place did not get five stars from me. But I go often because of being father to small kids who disappear in their children s room and give us enough time to eat our meals.
