SIERRA Coffee Dushanbinka — Restaurant in Bishkek City

I lived nearby so came here often for coffee and food. They do have an English menu so don't hesitate to ask for it. Cafe is relaxing with comfortable seating. Free WiFi is available and there are power sockets around for those who want to work (though note at some hours it can be busy). The staff have been lovely during the days and evenings that I visited. They are patient, friendly, and in my opinion, professional. When my latte order was forgotten (this only happened on my last day here and I imagined it was because they were busy), they apologized, took responsibility, and made it for me right away. Note that at all other times my orders were delivered quite promptly and in a complete manner so this was an exception. Their yak burgers are good and it comes with a set of thin plastic gloves so that you can eat with your hands without dirtying them, which I thought was interesting and a nice touch. I recently visited Sierra, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. While I was there, I noticed multiple cockroaches near my table, which was absolutely unacceptable and quite disturbing. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, I was met with a surprisingly careless attitude. The manager showed no concern for the situation, did not offer an apology, and made no effort to address the issue. This lack of care for both cleanliness and customer satisfaction is alarming. As someone who enjoys supporting local businesses, it’s disheartening to see such a lack of basic hygiene and customer service. I hope the management takes immediate steps to improve the cleanliness of their establishment and the quality of their customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend...

Came here for a late lunch and ordered food and tea. The waiter came up to the table to take the order but turned away and started cleaning another table while I was making orders, which was quite odd.

After over half an hour when we’ve asked if we are receiving food anytime soon we’ve been told that our order wasn’t added to the queue and we’ve been asked to wait for another 15 mins. The waiter who took the order didn’t come and didn’t apologised, which was quite disappointing. Well, ended up waiting for almost an hour to receive food and tea.
