Cozy, traditional decor, complete with a windmill above the fireplace welcomes you. Wagon-wheel lustres and barrels complete the almost rustic look. The tables are dressed in dark linens and large, lit candles and the benches and chairs are comfortable. The scent of lilies and roses is in the air and the cool, relaxing music from the radio is just right to spend a good time. The food is better than expected and truly fits the atmosphere: rustic and hearty with a chic, modern edge. The portions are generous and nicely presented. The recipes are mostly traditional and simple. Cooked to perfection. Yesterday, I had a light beer with the pork medallions with mustard and cream sauce with fries and garlic rye toasts to start. Overall, it's an ideal place to spend a Friday evening, sipping a beer on the terrace on a...
Read moreNice interior if you like this style, no questions for the service, considering the level of the place (it’s not high end restaurant and doesn’t pretend to be one).
Food was pretty awful. Potato pancakes were burnt, salmon could be barely found there and I had stomach problems after the dinner. Chicken fillet with cheese - it had ketchup underneath, hard to pretend what chief could do that.
So 2 out of 5, cause food is the main ingredient of...
