Used to be better.

Upper floor (shop & cafe) Barely warm cappuccino - €2.90 Hardly warmer latte (after my complaint about the first coffee) - €2.90 “Polarmaize” little warm on the sides but freezing cold inside - €2.55

P.S. the person making coffee will say that it is the “standard” and she was taught to make such (barely warm) coffee by professional baristas. The other guy, that makes burgers, will shout at you saying that you are wrong and in any case should leave them alone. I really expected more from such a prominent place that I used to dine in. Obviously I wasn’t offered another cup of coffee of satisfactory temperature, but honestly, you shouldn’t be expecting such service anywhere around in Latvia, LOL.

P.S.S. One of the best place to eat burgers! These are truly delicious.

Lower floor (restaurant) Good food, little overpriced, but that is expected. Generally of satisfactory quality. Nothing special, just a regular place to eat with ordinary dishes...

The food was tasty as usual, they give quite big portions, except for soups I would say. The soup was very tasty but you have to pay an extra euro just to add sour cream and we thought that is quite a lot...

Price wise, it is still very advantageous to eat here. My meal: rice with veggies, cheese and spinach pancake, salat and juice was 5.55€. If you want to get meat, it will be more expensive, but still usually under 10€.

The tables are a bit cluttered together and we struggled a bit with the neighbouring table. The chairs didn't fit and we had to compromise to sit properly. Because of this, it is also quite loud, you can hear everyone's conversations. The tables upstairs are nicer and it is less...

It's several good things in one. It can be a great lunch place. If the weather is fair, eat your lunch on their terrace; if it's raining, hey, their interior is also nice to look at.
