Panda Sushi & Wok — Restaurant in Valmiera

This was one of my favorite spots to go and eat sushi. After the last visit - it's not anymore. Food was on average quality. The person serving the food seemed to be very stressed and sometimes confused on what to do. In my sushi found some bone pieces. Did get a new portion (nice touch from their side), but the 2nd portion was in worse quality. No bones though it was like eating a badly prepared sushi with a lot of cream-cheese and rise what was close to impossible to pick up.

Do want to point out that the food in precious visits have been TOP notch and this last time I visited it was a single mishap for the restaurant. Do hope it's the case. Would be a shame if we would loose the best place to eat sushi.

So. We were searching for a sushi spot right. Well guess what. I don’t think you’ll find a better place around here than this. First of all the customer service was heartwarming and cute. Second, the variety of the sushi was BIG. We took the 72pcs one. I don’t remember the name but this was sooo good. And for the desert we took the Kiwi one. For a drink i took the mojito and i was surprised because it was hella refreshing. For me, everything was perfect. Will definitely go there next...

I’ve been here four times in the last 5 years and must say that it was always good experience. Although a decline in food quality is noticeable. Sushi maki were generally good but eel used to be more juiceier and fatter. I’d still come back as overall food is good for this...
