Ohannes Batroun is an authentic Western Armenian restaurant located in the heart of the Old Souk. We went for dinner at and the entire restaurant was empty besides us - it felt like a private dinner for us. I'm Armenian so I'm typically highly critical of Armenian restaurants but Ohannes met my standards. We tried the delicious classical Armenian dishes including Manti and Beyti Kebabs - and both blew away our expectations with the taste! We also had the Baba Ganouj and the Beurek w/ Basterma - both are elevated and fresh. The portions are small and the prices are higher than typical restaurants in Lebanon - we paid about $11 for each of the main dishes and $6 for the smaller appetizers. Comparatively, this is a finer dining experience and should be reviewed as one. Service was on-point and the owner/manager came by to say hello - which was a very nice touch to the overall experience. Atmosphere was unique, perfect for a date night. If you've never experienced Armenian cuisine and you're looking for a finer romantic dinner in Batroun, I'd highly recommend Ohannes.

Ohannes at Batroun is a cozy restaurant !! AVO, is one of the loveliest and coolest restaurants owners. The waiters are so welcoming and polite and the bartender is great!! The Armenian dishes that we ordered were so delicious with a beautiful presentation. The place is clean and friendly. I came back the second day while in Batroun and will surely come back again and again. I recommend it to everyone and make sure to try the crispy Manti, the cheesy burek, the juicy Itch, Ohannes Salad, the fresh Basterma, Lsenet and the sweet-salty cherry kofta and many more dishes🥰

Ohannes restaurant is a great place to have authentic Armenian food and other Lebanese mezze plates. The location is neat and rusty kind off to complete the whole experience. The waiters and owner are well mannered and professional . The only downsize is the quantity of food served, its should be more for the price paid especially the Armenian dishes. Will be back again

Worst experience ever! Food is horrible and we had to throw it! Everyone kept saying it’s a good place to visit while we were in batroun and it turned out to be the worst! We ordered Lahem b Ajin with pomegranate and yhe only taste is pomegranates, they wanted to hide the taste of meat - we ordered beef skewer, you barely can chew it and they price it 18$!!! Not to go at all - even we complained, the manager never came, what a...
