We went to Black Oak Eatery on a Friday for their open barbecue, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff invited us to sit wherever we liked, which made the evening feel relaxed and comfortable.
We started with the grilled shrimp appetizer, which was absolutely amazing. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and grilled just right. It set the tone for what turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve had in Lebanon.
For the open BBQ deal at $15 per person, we chose the chicken wings and pork chops. Although I’m not usually a fan of pork, it was good, but the real star of the night was the chicken wings. They were so delicious that I completely forgot to take a photo before diving in. The picture I did manage to take was of the aftermath, because honestly, we couldn’t stop eating them. We even woke up the next morning wishing we had eaten more.
I’ve had grilled chicken in many places, but Black Oak Eatery does it in a way that’s simply unforgettable. The flavor, the tenderness, and that perfect char are on another level. The cold beer served in a frosty mug was the perfect complement, chilled to absolute perfection.
For dessert, we had the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream, and it was the sweetest ending to an already incredible meal. Everything we ate was delicious from start to finish.
My only little wish is for more spicy sauce options, because if those wings ever come in a spicy version, I’d happily travel back to Lebanon just for them.
We can’t wait to visit again. Black Oak Eatery is a true gem that delivers comfort, quality, laughter, and flavors you’ll be dreaming about long...

Read moreI recently ate lunch at The Black Oak we were four people, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We paid $15 each, expecting a decent meal, but the portions we received were barely enough to feed two people.
Here’s what we got for $60 in total:
5 small meatballs 8 wings that were burnt Barely 200 grams of pork slices, also burnt 2 bowls of salad Cheese breads three spoons of hommos displayed separately in a plate one plate of sliced beetroot.
The portion sizes were shockingly small for the price. After leaving The Black Oak still hungry, we had to go to another restaurant to get more food.
Overall, The food was overpriced and poorly prepared, leaving us unsatisfied and searching for another...
