It has been a while since we had Chinese food. Well, firat place comes to mind is Chopsticks so we drove to Sin el Fil's branch and that turned to be a good idea.
The welcoming: It was not a Peak time, the place was empty, so a Waitress received us at the door and she was adorable... We were alone at the restaurant for 10 mins until tables started filling up and the place got busy which made us feel better tbh. The decor is lovely and warm, makes feel at ease.
The Menu: the variety is great and I couldn't think of anything to add or remove from it.
The Presentation: We ordered Chicken with Cashew Nuts and Jing Do Crispy Beef with side Steamed Rice. The presentation is not that much mouth watering but still not so bad.
The Taste: The rice is cooked with perfection, the Chicken with Cashew Nuts smells good and tastes even better. Nevertheless, the Crispy Beef is flawless, tasty and drives you to come back for it.
The Service: The service is great, fast and accurate. The Filipinas working there are awesome and very friendly.
The Cleanliness: The place is clean and well maintained. The table setups are clean and no dust or other hazards to be found. The toilets are beautiful, awesome decoration.
The price: well, the prices are awesome... With such a portion ( most probably you can't finish your plate ) and such a service and such a beautiful place, you expect to pay way more. Great value, price vs quality is favorable. Please keep it this way.
Thank you Chopsticks, we shall visit...
Read moreI previously rated this place with 5 stars, and I stood by it until yesterday.
The restaurant itself is amazing, the food quality is getting better and the portions are larger, the service is exceptional and the waiters are very friendly. It's obvious that the owner puts a lot of effort in upgrading the services and the quality of the food. The menu has a wide range of Japanese and Chinese food and the deserts are out of the box.
However, after enjoying a great diner in an amazing atmosphere, upon leaving the restaurant, a guy shows up asking for valet parking fees, noting that we parked on the main street around 50 meters away from the location, there was no sign of a private parking nor of valet services, no ribbons or cones. The valet fees are not the issue, the issue is that this is becoming a way to charge people for absolutely nothing. For a private parking it's understandable to pay, but it is unacceptable to charge customers for parking on the main street far from...
Read moreThe place is quite popular. One of the reasons to go to a franchise restaurant is the predictability of the food and the service. This is not the case. The staff is clearly not happy working there and the manager is more than absent. I saw most of the staff moving all together to the kitchen leaving the dining room with no attention at all. The waiter brought the plates and never came back no even to bring the check, for which I needed to go to the cashier because of the waiters absence. The food is another issue. I chose plate marked as spicy. When the establishment marks something with some specific characteristics, you expect that plate to have those as offered. My plate was even sweet instead of spicy but I couldn't claim the waiter because he never came back. The other plate, curry shrimps, was the tasteless curry I have ever tasted and was also almost sweet. The food, I understand could be adapted to the local taste but the awful service of the staff is not in the...
