ATTN: If I could give this place less than one star I would. If you are vegan, lactose intolerant, or have any food allergy or dietary restriction --- DO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. They conned my friends and I into thinking they understood our intolerances and they still brought us a plate full of dairy and after the fact, said that's the way they served it. Clearly, had they explained how unaccommodating they would be, we would have left. After a difficult back-and-forth, they took our plates and we left. What ensued was a chaotic scene we could not have imagined. The chef left the kitchen and called after us, calling the police on us. We understand cultural differences -- we come from a culture where the customer comes first and in this case, they were claiming because of the time he took to cook the food, we had to pay -- that when we ordered, we were signing a contract that we would pay. That would be fine with me -- IF I KNEW I WHAT I WAS BEING SERVED. However, WE WERE TRICKED. We were told they could remove the dairy, and then they DID NOT. They told us to eat it, eat around, said that's how it was there. They did everything but accommodate. They had such an indifference or even sadistic interest in us consuming food prepared in a way that would make us ill, or not consuming it at all. In addition to this, we only ordered tap water, and my friend ended up settling the dispute by handing over 40 Francs that we were truly robbed of. IF YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGIES AND INTOLERANCES, AGAIN, YOU WILL NOT BE WELCOMED HERE OR PROVIDED ANY SORT OF DECENT SERVICE....

We picked this restaurant based on its great reviews, which I unfortunately cannot agree with. In short, the service was poor, the environment didn’t feel clean, and the food was salted beyond comprehension. I’ll elaborate below.

The service: There was only one waiting staff serving the entire restaurant. They were visibly and audibly stressed the entire time we were there and was not attentive. Not the staff’s fault as the restaurant was extremely understaffed, but the service was very poor.

The environment: The restaurant looked nice enough, but there must have been about 4 or 5 flies gunning for our food the entire time. We had to be very vigilant to not have them land on our plates.

The food: Incredibly salty. All of us do actually enjoy very salty food and even so, we thought that every single dish was salted beyond reason. We are not from Liechtenstein, so maybe it’s just the local dining habits at play, but it was so bad some of us couldn’t even finish our plates, and we were starving to begin with. To top it all off, the food was extremely overpriced for what it was.

I cannot recommend this...

Very welcoming, menu is available in English but the staff speak a little English and with my poor German we got by 😊 i ate on the terrace which had a lovely view of the surrounding mountains. the food was delicious and the portion was perfect, i had the veal cordon bleu with french fries, you have to try it...! It was the best place to people watch and just enjoy the relaxed village life. All in all Highly recommended for a nice...
