We had a quick dinner at Scanaua on the first day after its opening night. While Scanaua is certainly a nice addition to Schaan's gastronomy landscape, we did not like the interior - in particular - the lighting. The food at Scanaua is simple and reasonably priced. The menu is small: one or two meat dishes, a salad, two pasta dishes. We had noodles with veggies and a salad with shredded beef. It was OK even though there was a sauce with the pasta that did not seem to be a good companion of the dish (too greasy and a weird flavor to go with aubergine and zucchini) and the chef admitted he had "forgotten" the cherry tomatoes even though they were specifically mentioned on the menu - guess it's one of the small hickups of a starting restaurant.
