Recently, I had the opportunity to experience Bonchuu Club in Luxembourg, and my overall impression leads me to assign a 3/5 rating. This restaurant falls into the category of average, with certain aspects leaving room for improvement.

I made a reservation for pizzeria. The premises are shared between pizzeria Giancarlo, Boonchu restaurant and some activities related to lounge bar, disco etc. In my opinion the pizzeria remains a valid choice for takeaways, while for on place services is losing appeal in favour of the other activities. Let's go to the point. On Thursday I made a reservation for two persons, using the website of the pizzeria. when I arrived at the reception I explained that I wanted to eat pizza, as per my reservation. The guy at the entrance stated that there was a lebanese party and they couldn't serve me pizza. After insisting I was told that the only option was, instead of going outside in the backyard, to go on the first floor, which I did. Awfully it was with very low light and no light at all in the stairs. No customers inside, tiny armchairs more suitable for a bar than for a pizzeria and dust on the tables. I decided to leave. When I said the receptionist that I was leaving no single question was made to explain the reason. Customer care close to zero...

I so wanted to love this place. When I walked in can see that so Thai and pizza and after ordering Thai should have gone for pizza. I know I’m not in Thailand but gai krapow is easy to make and this feels like it’s cooked by someone who doesn’t understand Thai food. The chicken satay was as dry as old boots, satay sauce tasted weird and the veggies in the gai krapow were raw and unpleasant. No heat at all chilli wise and I mean zero spice and I had one sprig of basil, shame as basil is in the name of the dish. At least the rice was passable while everything else was well below average and what I would expect from a place selling...
