The Cloud Factory stands tall among its local counterparts, boasting a reputation as one of the finest pizzerias in the arounds, top 50 outside of Italy, with a modern twist on Neapolitan traditions. It was a while I wanted to try this pizza and I came with high expectations, ready to savor a slice of culinary innovation. Upon my visit, it became evident that the cloud factory indeed prides itself on its modern approach to pizza-making. The dough, a hallmark of contemporary techniques, was impeccably light and airy, a testament to its high hydration content. Its delicate texture was expertly complemented by a flawless baking execution, evident in the beautifully tender crust. Opting for the classic Margherita, I sought to discern the interplay of flavors inherent in this iconic dish. The San Marzano tomatoes lent a pleasant sweetness to each bite, albeit overshadowed by my disappointment in the treatment of the mozzarella. Traditionally a beacon of freshness, the mozzarella fell short of expectations, exhibiting signs of overcooking and a gratinated flavor profile which detracted from its inherent creaminess and distinctiveness.
It is important to note that while my personal preference may differ from others, I base this consideration from the deviation from the Neapolitan standards in mind and it might be a point of contention for patrons searching for an authentic experience.
Beyond the culinary aspect, the cloud factory left something to be desired in terms of ambiance and limited drink selection. The lack of artisanal beer options and the unremarkable view from the main window fails to enhance the dining experience. The inconvenience of parking may deter some patrons.
However, amidst these shortcomings, the warmth and professionalism exhibited by the staff deserve commendation. Their fluency in English and willingness to assist amidst any confusion brought by the phone based ordering system added a touch of hospitality to the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, the Cloud factory offers a commendable rendition of Naples-style pizza. While the pizza itself earns a solid four-star rating, considerations of location and drink selection should prompt a more tempered evaluation. As such, I would humbly assign a composite rating of 3.5 stars if the system would allow it, acknowledging the establishment's potential while also highlighting areas for improvement.
With humility, my evaluation stems from the high expectations set by the pizzeria itself. Given these high standards, I felt I could adopt a less forgiving...
Read more26/7/2025- we had guests over and we decided to deliver from Cloud Factory as their pizzas which we had had before at the restaurant were simply delicious. But last night every pizza was a disaster and it left us embarrassed in front of the guests. We ordered via Wolt. 1stly the pizzas arrived after more than 1.5 hours after we placed the order. 2ndly the boxes were falling apart and wet at the edges as the guy who delivered, carried them in an ordinary "backpack", vertically 😱. So, the toppings of the pizzas had moved down to one end of the pizzas. The excuse given by the delivery guy for the delay was that his ebike lost charge on the way. He was coming all the way from Esch to Differdange on an ebike. We were expecting that someone delivering food from a highly rated restaurant should take extreme care to deliver the food properly. 3rdly all the pizzas were super soggy which was the final nail in the coffin. Even after warming the pizzas in oven the quality didn't improve. Now, please do not pass the blame on to the delivery partner, as the experience of food comes from the restaurant to the final consumer. Our evening was pretty much ruined. Not only people were kept hungry but ended up having soggy messed up and gooey lump of dough. Cloud factory also messed up a bit. We ordered a Capriciosa for a pregnant lady in the group to avoid eating processed meat. But there was ham on top of the pizza which she could not eat. Well, leaving the past behind, and moving on, I'd request Cloud factory to check with the delivery partner if the person has appropriate mode of transportation and equipment to deliver the food in proper condition going forward.
We tried the Prosciutto e funghi and tonnata....
Read moreI was so curious to see the Cloud Factory☁️🍕 from Esch. Because I always order online, I didn't have the chance to go there.🥹
First of all I need to mention that I am already a fan of their pizza.🍕 It is fluffy, simple and tasty. No pizza from Luxembourg did ever overpassed this one.😍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The personnel was kind enough to let us in without a reservation, with the condition to finish in one hour.🕗 I was a little bit stressed because I didn't know if one hour would be enough. But, after we ordered (both for eat in and take away), the pizzas were ready in approx 10 minutes. 👏 We had the time to eat, chat, pay, drink, so everything was perfectly aligned.👍👏🤩
The personnel: very kind, smiling, attentive to our needs, fast in serving and adaptable.
The pizza: as I have already mentioned it is my favourite. It is heavenly🌈, especially when you eat it there, right from the oven 🔥. I always order diavola, maguerita or pestada, but I think it worths trying other options too. 🤩
The place: Although not very visible from the street, it has a covered terrace and a very cozy inside space 🛋. It is decorated with taste and it really makes you feel welcome. 😍👏🤗
Thank you for the experience. I can't wait to go back with another ocasion! 🙏🤩⭐️❤️ I will make sure to have a reservation 🕗 🗓to be able to enjoy fully the...
