Went here for dinner, and was a bit disappointed. A lot of overly positive comments about the food so had high expectations. Ordered a simple carbonara for dinner, which objectively wasn’t bad or anything wrong with it, it just wasn’t anything special either. It was a decent carbonara. Could been me choosing the wrong item from the menu, peeked at some other tables and their food looked good.

Stopped by for lunch — I had pasta di vongole. I want to compliment the chef for perfectly cooking the pasta — true al dente, just the way it should be. However, in my pasta di vongole there was a bit too much garlic, which overpowered the natural flavor of the clams. For dessert, the panna cotta was simply outstanding — absolutely delicious.

Das Restaurant ist nicht sehr groß aber besticht durch sein romantisches Ambiente. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Auf der Karte findet man Italienische Küche zu angenehmen Preisen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen. Am besten man reserviert am Tag vorher. À Remich, situé au bord de la Moselle, se trouve un très bel et bon hôtel-restaurant, le Casa49. Cette entreprise familiale est connue pour sa cuisine italienne. Le restaurant n'est pas très grand mais séduit par son ambiance romantique. Le personnel est très aimable et on se sent très à l‘aise. La carte propose des plats italiens à des prix agréables. Je ne peux que recommander ce restaurant. Il est préférable de réserver la veille.

Stayed for 2 nights at CASA 49 with a room looking at the river. Very comfortable and clean room with all amenities. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Extensive and very good breakfast. The restaurant is top notch, had the entrecote as well as the linguine aux fruits de mer, both were excellent. Great cocktail, wine and beer selection. The staff were very friendly and the interior is nice. That's probably where the pluses ended. This was the first breakfast that didn't have eggs, in any form. Although there was fried bacon 😏The table was half empty. One type of meat. One waffle on the table. I'd say very, very sparse. For 40 euros for two people. Definitely not...
