Now, let’s dive into the details: Food: The tartare de bœuf here is a must-try. While the menu isn’t extensive, the dishes they do offer are well-prepared and flavorful. The seared tuna, with its Asian-inspired twist, is also highly recommended.

Service: The service was the day on my visit impeccable , making the overall experience more enjoyable. Mainly young people were in the service. I ignore if they were students or not. However they made a great service.

Atmosphere: Sitting on the terrace, you’ll appreciate the relaxing setting and picturesque views. Our dog Toffee 🐕 was also welcomed and hhe spend a great time as well 👍

Keep in mind that Desom doesn’t have an extensive menu, but if you’re in the mood for a delightful tartare de bœuf or tuna paired with some great Desom Crémant bubbles, this is the place to be! 🍽️🌟

This used to be a very good restaurant where they served good menus all day. We went back today what a disappointment. First we learned that the kitchen is closed and could eat only Ham or cheese platters. Staff was rather impolite. We had to beg for more butter as we were 3. We took 2 platters but they gave us only one small butter and very few bread. My mother wanted to give them a chance so after a walk we came back for dinner. Food has becoming horrible everything was so salty that it was hardly edible. Could not eat the fries. My father said his filet americain looked and tasted really bad. Too much mayo and too wet. Only the wine was good. We may come back for a drink but not to eat. When we told them it was too salty they said we should have told them. In normal restaurants they put salt and pepper on the table and you can dose yourselves. As if they would redo the whole steak again or what it was so salty you could not even taste the beef at all ? Useless. We will not come back...

One of the worst experiences I had. In the circumstances of an almost empty location, on a Sunday, we asked for a table on the terrace. After ordering a bottle of cremant, the waitress specified that we also need to order food if we want to stay on the terrace. This is absolutely pathetic and discriminatory and first experience where I am being asked to move if I don’t order food. Al least if this is the policy of the location specify from the beginning to customers. Of course I will never return and recommend to all to avoid...
