This is a great place to stay and the management is just the best! We drove, so the parking lot was an added bonus. The property is located on the river, so the view is also very nice. The rooms (I believe they have 10-12) are located above the Asian restaurant downstairs. There is a staircase up the back to give you direct access to the rooms from the parking lot as well. The rooms (we stayed in #22) were very nice, spacious and clean and ours even had a second bed. The beds were soft and the bedding was nice. The AC in the room worked extremely well and the shades were nice and darkening as well, so sleep in if you like! The bathroom is a bit small, like most European toilettes, but clean and well equipped. The shower had a good spray and the water got hot pretty quick. The location was nice too, close enough to town, but out far enough to be quiet. About a 25 minute drive gets you to downtown Luxembourg City. The absolute BONUS to staying here was the FABULOUS breakfast! Our host for breakfast did so much to make us happy. Coke for my wife, a tall glass of milk for me, eggs any style we liked, breads, meats, cheeses, orange juice, cappuccino and it was plentiful, hot and fresh. I don't tip for buffet breakfasts as a rule, but I broke the rule here! He was just too good not to add a little something. I can HIGHLY recommend a stay here and will plan on staying here again. This little place is set in an idillic location opposite the Moselle River. I had a great view from my window. The rooms are very basic but comfortable and clean. My single room had a very small bathroom but I made it work. Now for the food! The restaurant was packed at 8pm when I arrived. The whole establishment is run by a lovely Chinese family and the food was amazing. Be warned the get LOTS! I had Chinese spring rolls and got 2 massive ones. My main course of spicy beef came with rice as was also huge. To be honest my wife and I could have shared the whole meal had she been with me. I could not eat it all on my own!
