Da Vito restaurant — Restaurant in Wormeldange

I asked for a delivery to Nittel. The pizza is better than most deliveries I had from German places but it's still not really close to the level I know from south Luxembourg (and probably not even close to an original Italian pizza). Considering that and the fact that it's actually more expensive than the pizza in south Luxembourg doesn't really makes me want to order again there.

There is also a 5€ delivery fee if the order is under 50€ when delivering to Nittel, which I can understand so this is more of an information.

The staff seems friendly and the pizza was hot when it was delivered so nothing to complain about here.

Not sure why the pizza in this corner tastes so different from what I am used to from differdange/foetz/dudelange but it really does and I don't like it, I'd actually rather pick up a frozen pizza from ristorane or Wagner, to be honest (which is probably what I'll do from now on since I tried all the surrounding pizzerias). I'd say give it a shot, maybe YOU do like it. Would probably be a 4 stars for the food if I wouldn't know about the ones I had before in other parts...

Best pizza i had in a while. The service is sooo amazing, kind and friendly. We got plently of starters for free. As i am vegan they even served me tomatosoup instead of fishsoup and an amazing forcaccia. The pizzadough is so fluffy and the veggies fresh. The pastadishes and also the meatdish my father had was super delicious and we had the best evening, stuffing our bellies 😉 but no regrets. we will come back for sure🌱 Unfortenately for vegans, the pasta seems to contain egg as it was written in the allergylist. however i am sure noone will leave this place hungry and disappointed.👍 There a very unique offers and a lot of dishes to choise from. Wenn Sie gutes italienisches Essen genießen wollen, dann meiden Sie tunlichst dieses Restaurant! Wir haben heute zwei Pizzen bestellt (Gesamtpreis über 40€!), die zum Zeitpunkt der Lieferung schon fast vollständig erkaltet waren. Neben dem lieblosen Geschmack fiel uns besonders negativ die Konsistenz des Teiges auf: Er war zäh wie Gummi und offensichtlich nicht knusprig durchgebacken. Die Qualität der Zutaten steht hier in keinem Verhältnis zu den aufgerufenen Preisen. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt sind die Lieferkosten, gegen die an sich kein Anstoß zu nehmen ist, insofern sie transparent kommuniziert werden. Auf der Internetseite ist zwar die Rede von einem Mindestbestellwert bei entsprechender Entferung des Lieferortes, aber die Zusatzkosten werden erst am Telefon erwähnt (bei uns 5€ für ca. 8 km). Fazit: zwei kalte, qualitativ minderwertige Pizzen mit Lieferkosten für 45€! Das ist ein Preis den wir gerne bereit sind zu zahlen, wenn die Qualtiät und der Geschmack stimmen. Wir werden hier mit Sicherheit nichts mehr...
