I was looking forward to having my sons bday at this cafe. After speaking to the owner over the phone she welcomes me to view the cafe and make the deposit. When I arrived I felt like she was taken back at my appearance (Caucasian with headscarf). She immediately told me my date was booked at the door but I told her I would consider another date. As I asked questions like โwhere would the bouncy castle and food go?โ She sarcastically replied itโs all like the pictures you saw online. She also said why do you want to have the bday here if you live so far (mont kiara). She also started telling me my deposit wasnโt refundable if the COVID cases go up. As she was speaking to me she kept moving things around and working. I got really frustrated and felt disrespected so I asked her why is she trying to talk me out of booking my event. Her excuse was she is tired of people changing dates because of the pandemic. I explained that I was a serious client. Then she left me without any notice. I went to the front to look for her and asked her why she was being so rude to leave her client standing in the lawn and took my kids and left. It was a very bad meeting and I truly believe it was a...
ย ย ย Read moreIt was rated as a kids friendly cafe so we went to check it out. It's a home converted into a cozy cafe. Super disappointed unfortunately with the toys. The backyard had some green grass, 2 lazy chairs & a badly broken bicycle. There is a small tent outside with some toys in it too but it was disgustingly dirty. The playroom upstairs has toys too but again totally unkempt and besides dirty they were also broken and in bad condition. We had to stay in the play room with the kids while they played. The toilet was very clean but no toddler potty seat etc in the toilet ya. Food wise it was regular really. The hearty breakfast would have been good enough for us. Regretted the pancakes. It was one thick pancake with some cut fruits and cream on the side. Wasted this one and the fish n chips too. The chicken burger should also be in the kids menu for the size of it. Overall not worth the money or trip to bring the kids to. The place probably had it's glory days but now it's just hosting batik painters who hopefully patronise the food as well. Cashier was very rude to the worker, despite having customers around. Overall, we won't return or recommend this as a kids...
ย ย ย Read moreNot worth at all. I wonder how others could give high comments. May be its only attractive for those who likes Batik, likes hot weather and mosquitos. The food is not worth the price. Average per meal rm20. This price can eat better food in well known restaurants. Anyway, the food is just normal standard. The vege pasta is not nice. No aircond. Open area. Its a rumah atap. With few tables and chairs. Look Like a mamak warung. If u like kampung style then go ahead. Mosquitos everywhere bcos its an open area, in a garden. Little staff. No credit card payment. Hard to find the restaurant. Its like hidden. With no name outside the building. Entrance is...
