Indah Khabar Dari Rupa - This shop is 1 of the most recommended by the locals in this area to have a good nasi lemak breakfast. However, never trust the rumors.
I bought Nasi Lemak Sambal Sotong (Dried Squid) and Nasi Lemak Fried Chicken with 4 Curry Puff, take away to my room. I have spent RM20 for all those meals.
The Nasi Lemak were uncooked, no anchovie. I expecting every nasi lemak dishes are compulsary to have anchovies, sliced cucumber and booled egg eventhough we adding additional side meal like chicken, meat, seafood etc. In this case, i didn’t get my anchovie even for both of my packs of nasi lemak.
The taste wise, it is so lame. I have tasted far more better than this nasi lemak. The sambal taste horrible. Plain and bitter. I don’t understand why those locals love this shop.
The shop enviroment, its full at the time I come. That is why I’m packing my meals. The cleaniness of the shop is below average similar like other street shops. Yup, I saw rats moving around the shop like always in Malaysia. Nothing much to comment on this type of shop because its quite common in Malaysia. Luckily, its not worst like other third world countries.
I definitely not recommending this shop. To the owner, you have a lot to improves especially on your products quality.

All the side-dishes such as fried egg, tapioca crisps, anchovy dried sambal etc. are well seasoned & nicely complements the rounded taste of the nasi lemak itself.
For Malaysian palate, the spiciness of the sambal is quite pronounced; bordering between "I just can't have enough of this sambal" & "I will regret this in...
Read moreTried their nasi lemak sambal sotong and lontong. The sambal sotong is on the sweet spectrum. Spicy level is ok for me. Can be more spicy. I spoke with one of the pak cik and he told me that the sambal is spicy. Personally would prefer it to be salty spicy type. The sotong texture is just nice. Not too chewy. Lontong is good. A lot of ingredients. Sambal and sambal kacang has the right spicy level and nutty taste. Price is definitely affordable, 2 main dishes and 2 drinks...
