Taman Saga Night Glow — A Hidden Corner of Kuala Lumpur’s Skyline Not every great city view comes from a high-end rooftop bar or fancy hotel. Sometimes, it’s the quiet corners and humble streets that offer the most genuine beauty — like this one from Taman Saga - Ampang, overlooking Kuala Lumpur’s glittering skyline.
Here, beside a simple roadside eatery, the night opens up to a breathtaking scene — the Merdeka 118 Tower gleaming proudly in blue, the KL Tower glowing with colour, and the iconic Petronas Twin Towers shining at the far edge of the horizon. Between the soft chatter of locals and the sizzling sound from food stalls, the city feels alive yet peaceful.
It’s not the most famous spot for a view, but perhaps that’s what makes it special. You can sit by the road, enjoy a hot meal or a cup of teh tarik, and just breathe in the calm of the night. The sight of Kuala Lumpur stretching endlessly before you reminds that peace doesn’t always come from silence — sometimes, it’s found in the gentle hum of city life seen from a quiet hill.
A simple stop at Taman Saga can turn into a moment of reflection — where the lights of the city meet the stillness...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a relaxing hangout spot with a beautiful view in Ampang, Rani Corner in Taman Saga is a must-visit. Perched on a gentle hillside, this place offers a surprisingly scenic backdrop of the city skyline, especially during the late evening and night. It’s a popular local spot, yet it still feels like a bit of a hidden gem.
The food is a solid part of the experience. I tried the roti kosong, which was hot, crispy on the outside, and soft inside—great when paired with their dhal and sambal. The satay here is well-marinated and grilled to smoky perfection, served with a rich, chunky peanut sauce. But the real star has to be their famous sup kambing (mutton soup). It’s bold, aromatic, and comforting, with tender chunks of mutton and a deep, spicy broth that hits all the right notes.
There’s ample space for sitting with friends or family, and the breeze at night makes it a lovely chill-out spot. Parking can be tight during peak hours, but it’s worth the effort. Highly recommended for those who love good food...

The Nasi Lemak with Telur Mata & fried Chicken. The taste of nasi lemak with telur mata was great. Seriously i did enjoyed the meal. The fried Chicken would be a top notch if it was freshly fried thou. Still good to eat but much better if it was served warm.
