Weekend Car Boot Sale celebratory and reasonably priced, here are some feedbacks regarding foods sold:
RM 15 Ramen Combo was alright. Quite costly given that Lychee Ribena drink contained zero fruit inside.
RM 13 Kek Coklat Moist Cedok was tasty. Very generous saucing, well flavoured though a bit watery.
RM 10 Tauhu Bergedil Daging Cheese (3 pcs) decent with the stuffing of minced beef, and a small chunk of cheese each.
RM 10 (NP: 6 pcs for RM 12) Mini Sliced Cakes were nice, all moderately sweet. KitKat Tart and Fruit Pavlova are worth trying. Carrot Cake quite flavourless despite being moist.
RM 7 Matcha Whispers were quite disappointing. The bitterness of matcha overpowered mango and Gula Melaka tasteful spread. You can get better quality of brews from nearest other establishments.
RM 5 Pistachio Taufufa from Miss Bun was somehow more flavourful than Ge Gedik Ela's RM 6. However I do recommend matcha flavoured from the latter. Brown sugar syrup from both purchases were...
Read moreAt last managed to try the Malay dessert - Bubur Maneh & was disappointed cuz tried the Nangka But didnt see any nangka flesh. The bubur cha cha also had small bits of sweet potato, no sign of yam & springy flour. Maybe its totally different from our chinese style. Its Rm5 p/container. The puri paneer is slightly different from the Indian ones. Its rm10 p/set. The Chachos is considered on the pricey side for rm12. Its just a pkt of Chachos topped with onions, tomatoes, corn kernels, minced beef & drizzled with some sauce. There are also drink stalls too. There are quite a few other stalls selling clothes, toys, keychains, etc. There's also a fresh Durian stall. There are train rides, scooters for rental by a time frame. All these pop-up stalls are only available from Thurs to Sundays. Alot of parking...
Read moreA very fine place to visit. Although small, it is much nicer in the inside. A plethora types of meals and foods.
There is pizza, ayam gunting, takoyaki, fruit juice beverage, iced coffee, all of which can be takeaways or dine-in in front of their food truck, as they have designated seats and tables.
If you want something more traditional, there is Nasi Lemak Angah, this is the closest to the food truck and you cannot go wrong with some Nasi Lemak. In addition, there's Nasi Goreng Penumbuk, with some other food chain that I haven't even tried yet. Although this is a longer walk from the food trucks and Nasi Lemak Angah, but is still worth checking out.
I've had so much fun here with friends and spent countless hours here together that we just can't stop coming back. It is such a cozy place...
