Look, if you're after a decent spot to stretch your legs or just chill out, Adda Heights Town Park isn't half bad. It's tucked away in this housing area, so yeah, parking can be a pain during busy times. You might end up leaving your car on the roadside, but hey, that's city life for you and trust me, it's worth the effort.
Once you're in, it's pretty nice. There's this big lake smack in the middle with some massive koi. Bring some fish food and watch these aquatic giants put on a show – it's like a water ballet with scales– it's a laugh watching them go nuts for it. The kids seem to get a kick out of it too.
For the fitness enthusiasts, there's a well-marked 1200m path that's perfect for anything from a leisurely stroll to a heart-pumping jog. And if you're into people-watching, oh boy, are you in for a treat!
What I find interesting is all the different folks you see there. You've got these older Chinese folks doing their Tai Chi, super serious-like. Then there's young people busting out aerobic moves to some beat. It's quite the mix.
Oh, and keep an eye out for monkeys. They're always up to something in the trees. Sometimes you'll spot a stork just standing there, looking all philosophical.
There's a playground for the kids and a basketball court if you fancy a game. The whole place is kept pretty clean, which is nice.
I reckon it's better than Hutan Bandar – at least here you're not gonna slip and bust your behind if it rains. And it's got more shade than Taman Merdeka, so you're not gonna melt in the heat.
It's become our go-to place for some fresh air or a quick picnic. Nothing fancy, just a decent spot to hang out. And bonus points for having actual toilets – always a plus when you're out with the family.
So yeah, if you're in the area and need a breather, Adda Heights Town Park...

Adda Heights Town Park is a wonderful spot to enjoy some peace and nature. The natural beauty of the park is truly refreshing, and I loved strolling along the walking paths, surrounded by greenery. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.
The park also offers fantastic amenities that make it perfect for a day out with family or friends. The playground is a hit with kids, and the picnic area by the lake is ideal for a relaxing lunch or afternoon break. I also noticed the scooter rentals, which are a fun way to explore the park. Plus, the toilets are clean and well-maintained, which is always a nice touch.
One of the highlights for me was the "play bubbles & kite" feature — it’s unique and adds an extra element of fun to the park.
I highly recommend Adda Heights Town Park to everyone. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful walk, a place for a family outing, or just some time to enjoy nature, this park has something...
Read moreThis is really well maintained for a public park. The toilet at the time of visit is clean and we can see a couple of staff walking around and tending and keeping the place tidy. Wished that the users are more civic minded though since many take it for granted.
Still, it is lovely to walk about and you'll see quite a bit of flora and fauna surprisingly.
There are also a few car park areas so you don't have to worry about parking spaces and just relax and have yourself a lovely time. For those who are into long distance running, this is not that big a park so you might have to go a few rounds. But for the family to be out and about this is pretty spot on. The main disappointment is that dogs are not allowed for some strange reason. Perhaps its a culture thing. Though I think most are actually fine especially if the owners were...
