Food Selection 4/5 – Not all dim sum choices available, but still okay. Some common items missing, but overall enough variety to try.
Food Taste 5/5 – Overall good. Tastes better than nearby dim sum restaurants. Steamed items are fresh, and the fried prawn roll is crispy. The big pao "Dao Pao" is surprisingly good, only available on Saturday and Sunday.
Food Quality 4/5 – Freshly made from kitchen. However, dumplings like DS001, DS002, DS006, DS011 can be improved, appearance so-so, taste still okay. Xiao Long Bao is just average.
Environment 4/5 – Clean and acceptable, but the seating area is a bit cramped. Table size is smaller compared to other dim sum places.
Staff Service 4/5 – Service is normal but still attentive. However, not much of a "customer service" feel. On weekends, there should be staff stationed at the reception counter to assist customers, manage queues, or prepare seating in advance.
Price 4/5 – Slightly expensive, especially since portion sizes are a bit small. But the taste is good, so still considered worth it.
Overall – still...
Read moreFirst time visiting, nice and cozy ambience in an unexpected neighborhood shop row in Simpang Pulai. Don't be fooled on the exterior as the shop looks dark and closed.
Once you enter through those doors, it's bright and lively with a faith background of jazz music, great!
The food selection is wide with lots of choices per category, honestly I recommend you come before 12pm just to take your time to browse the menu 😂.
We tried a variety of dishes, I personally found the ginger fish, prawn chee chong fun and honey char siew chee chong fun fantastic!
The staff are mostly locals who are super chatty and friendly which is also super nice and convinced us to come here again for the experience.
However, the price is definitely on the higher side for the area, but it's still worth your money in my opinion!
Overall, a great experience and I recommend visiting if you are in the area!
Thank you for...
Read moreWent there a few times but I would rather go the dimsum at the back without air-conditioning. Food is average. Service was bad, particularly that uncle apek! While we understand sometimes it’s busy and gotta wait. He gave us a number to wait. We waited almost half an hour outside, very hot with children. And then only a lady staff asked why we were still waiting despite got table inside. That apek didn’t even apologise or say anything, didn’t bother to even check on us! Seated inside, we made an order on the menu and passed to the staff, after a long wait and check on our orders, only be told that they didn’t take our order! That would be my last visit to this place. Service in F&B is very important. If you can’t do it right, don’t do F&B! Despite given a free dish, it won’t help much as that’s...
