I recently visited this kopitiam and had an absolutely dreadful dining experience that I feel compelled to warn others about. From the food quality to the poor service, everything about this visit was a disappointment.
To start, the pan mee I ordered was not at all delicious and was clearly undercooked. The noodles were hard and unappetizing. This was a poor start to the meal.
Things went downhill from there. When my order of dimsum arrived, it was clear the items had not been properly steamed. They had an unpleasant icy taste and were dry, completely lacking the juicy, hot texture one expects from well-prepared dimsum.
But the biggest issue was the lengthy wait time. It took an astonishing 1.5 hours for my order to be ready, and to make matters worse, they brought out the wrong items entirely. I had to send the food back and wait even longer to receive the correct order.
Overall, this was an absolutely dreadful dining experience from start to finish. The food quality was subpar, the service was unacceptably slow, and they even managed to get the order wrong. I cannot recommend this kopitiam to anyone - save yourself the time and frustration and go elsewhere. This establishment clearly has major issues that need to...
Read moreThis is my third visit here, and unfortunately, those has been the worst experience so far.
First time here, the staff keyed in my order wrongly and then had the audacity to blame the customer, claiming the order was not written properly.
Second time I thought will improved but then an item I never ordered suddenly appeared on my order chit with different handwriting after we had clearly said we didn’t order that type of toast.
Third time, today I ordered four types of food. After waiting for over an hour, only one item was served. When we asked the cashier, the waiter told us the rest hadn’t been cooked and were no longer available. What is going on?
Tauke, please train your staff properly. The food quality and taste also have dropped significantly compared to Marina a...
Read moreThis was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I waited two hours for my claypot noodles, only to be told by the cashier that they hadn’t even started making my order. Everything else we ordered took over 30 minutes to arrive—even something as simple as toast. One claypot dish finally came out after more than an hour, far exceeding the suggested waiting time on the menu. Feel like I wasted my whole afternoon for a couple of items.
The restaurant is poorly managed. You’re serving standard kopitiam food but failing to match even a kopitiam’s efficiency. It seems like more money was spent on decor than on hiring or properly training staff. Unfortunately, no amount of aesthetic appeal can hide how inefficiently this place is run. RUN don’t walk when you come across...
