Lock Ann - ABC, Rojak, Belacan Bihun, Cucur Udang, Sarawak Laksa — Restaurant in Borneo

This is the a legend place to eat... I've come here since I was a kid, I've to tell you that!! The taste has maintained throughout the years and it hasn't changed a bit. The interior is still the same yet has couple of changes here and there but the services is amazing... At Lock Ann, they don't just sell ABC but other food as well that comes with it like cucur (every kind of it, you name it), laksa sarawak, mee belacan, rojak kangkung (serious nang nyaman), tauhu sumbat... What does ABC in Sarawak makes a different in Semenanjung is we use gula apong in it (damn just by thinking of it makes me drool🤪🤪).. Nonetheless, if your a foodie from other states here in Malaysia but haven't eat here otherwise you can't tell you've been...

Haduiiiihhhhh... The ABC is SOOOO SMALL... Rm3.50 In the menu picture it's a mountain of ice and ABC stuff but once it was served was just a small bowl, everything flat.

If their business werent good, I can understand they control portion size but I saw at least 3~4 tables having ABC, and then 1 huge order of 12 ABCs one go.. business and sales are so good, so why so stingy with the portion? Went on a thursday and still so many people and ABC orders.

Ordered 4 ABC, 10 cucur udang, bil was rm32. 🤷

Classic place to go to for local desserts. There's no one in Kuching who has never heard of Lock Ann. To me this is the better branch even though Lock Ann has some quality/consistency issue over the years, but I still visit frequently. Ordered for takeaway: ais kacang medium, white lady small, metahon small for some rm19 in total. The portion of a small takeaway metahon is the same as a cup of pearl milk tea large size.
