SCR Matang Jaya — Restaurant in Sarawak

went to eat here at evening, was surprised to see how it is exactly the same as it was decades ago, this scr has been here since i was a kid in elementary school and now im in my 20s.

everything still the same except the chairs, there used to have big chocolate chairs with red couches. now the seats are too packed and too near with each other from the next table. when i wanted to order, we had to scan to order and literally everything is unavailable. even the og kailan oyster sauce. roasted chicken is sold out too. like 80 percent in the menu are unavailable. it’s upsetting.

the staffs were singing and shouting when there are literally customers eating. old face but acting like a child from where customers can see you. please teach your staffs some manners when customers are eating. and the rice was not really cooked properly,...

The waiters are NOT friendly and VERY ignorant. They pretended my family was not here sitting and waiting for the order book.

During payment, my order payment was suddenly charged extra compared to the one displayed on the order website.

They said it was because they didn't include the service tax, which is hilarious because why didn't the system include it beforehand?

I WOULD sympathetise with the workers if they were tired or not in the mood, but seeing that they were doing their work by leisurely standing or chatting with one another is ABSURD.

Overall, the food is actually not that bad, if only the service was half as good as the food...

Lots of their staff were at the outside of the premise but no one entertain us. They just busy talking to each other until we have to ask if we can still dine in or not and whether any available seats for 2.Certain part of the place was messy.
